About me
Hello, I am truly passionate about my work. What I enjoy most is meeting and working with clients from all different walks of life and watching their progress as they engage in therapy and make steps towards feeling happier and more fullfilled. I run sessions face to face from The Counselling Cabin at my home in Chelmsford, or by telephone, or on-line via Zoom, or Skype, worldwide.
I trained at The Counsel House, in Wickford, Essex, with the Open University and with Lifeforce in Colchester (you can see my qualifications listed below). I went on to work for Dove Bereavement Services in Essex, where I counselled people who had experienced trauma and loss through the death of someone close to them, miscarriage, still birth, relationship issues, depression and anxiety. I have also worked for Safer Places in Essex, where I counselled people who have experienced the trauma of domestic abuse. I have been in Private Practice for the past 4 and a half years.
Professional Membership and Accreditation
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and as such I am committed to working ethically and safely and in the best interests of my clients. I keep my training up to date with continued professional development. More information about the BACP can be found at www.BACP.co.uk.
